I often get conflicted sometimes about the idea of “sales”. I typically do not like the term, nor do I like the concept of selling in general. That may seem odd, considering the business we’re in, but “selling” often conjures an image of the slick-dressed, pushy salesperson that annoys you over and over again in a store. For me, it’s a big turn-off.

Many give little thought to the color usage and wonder why their logo and branding does not work well for them over time. In an ongoing mission to raise awareness regarding Camp Lejeune water and soil contamination, one of the goals of CivilianExposure.org is to seek out opportunities to bring more media attention to the issue. With so many civilian and military personnel exposed from the 1940s to the 1990s, it is imperative that all information be spread through the broadest media outreach possible. Many have potentially moved or relocated to all parts of the world and may not even be aware of their exposure, recent studies or potential available assistance.

We have it all figured out. Regardless, few of us escape some sort of personal setback in life. Whether financial, emotional, spiritual or otherwise, I have found that most of these setbacks strike when we least expect. Many noted figures in business and life also reference personal tragedies or setbacks in their biographies as a catalyst for their own move from good to great.
