UPDATE 7/21/2010: Not only did I earn a spot in the Summer Management Program and win the overall business simulation, but I also placed in the Top 10 of the class, Passing with Distinction. In addition to this great honor, I have earned an additional scholarship that can be applied to the MA in Management Program here at Wake Forest University. I would like to personally thank all of my teammates and professors for their help and assistance which was vital to this achievement!
Update 7/3/2010: My group, “Lucky 13” is the overall winner of this year’s virtual business simulation across all competing groups. I’m proud to be the President of the team. Lucky 13 also consists of current WFU students Trenton Langston, Lexie Zirschy, and Blakeney Brown, along with Daniel Mills (visiting from Emory & Henry).
6/3/2010: I’m excited to report that I was selected to attend the 2010 Wake Forest Summer Management Program on full scholarship. The 5-week program is business-intensive, covering a wide range of topics including:
Marketing | Information Technology | Quantitative Analysis | Business Life | Entrepreneurship | Finance | Accounting | Strategic Management | Business Law
The program is capped off by a virtual business simulation over a one week period, allowing for the synthesis and application of all of the subjects covered.
While it is a massive undertaking, the benefits are unquestionable. For more information on the WFU Summer Management Program, go to: http://business.wfu.edu/default.aspx?id=1184
